14/08/2008 | The Braidwood Servicemen's Club Bears went down 42-4 against the Bungendore Tigers on Saturday at the Rec. Bungendore scored 8 tries to the Bears 1 and led 18-4 at halftime. The Bears held the Tigers to 22-4 till 15 minutes from time but with Marty Edwards, Mark Piper and Steve Clarke all injured during the match the Bears reduced bench took its toll and Bungendore ran in 4 tries against a tired Bears defence.

Last season premiers Braidwood competed well for most of the game but could not maintain concentration for entire 80 minutes. Narooma now move into the semi's for the first time in only their second year of competition.

30/07/2008 | The Braidwood Servicemen's Club Bears slim chance of playing in the George Tooke Shield semi's was all but extinguished when they were beaten in a torrid game at the Rec on Saturday, 40 points to 24.
30/07/2008 | The first week of the school holidays saw two teams from the Braidwood Junior soccer club enter into the 2008 Kanga Cup in Canberra. The Kanga cup is the largest youth soccer tournament in the southern hemisphere with over 4500 competitors playing in a week long tournament.

A convincing win in the end but the Redbacks keep close most of the game with two intercept tries finally giving the Dolphins the edge in the second half.
It was another tough ask of the Redbacks this week with top of the table Broulee at full strength.
